Some of these pictures were taken from our last overnight activity with Mcoy and the Cugman boys last month. Some of the guys were actually close, very close to us.
Like Mcoy, I’m glad I got to know them and had shared precious time with them. Be part of their day and their family as well.
They’re in their late teens and some just hitched 20′s already yet we still fondly call them boys.
Why? We first met them almost 2 years ago and they were still very much teenagers at that time, being boys.
Through time, they’ve changed and become more matured and guided. They’ve also become more motivated and sure of what they want in their life. Thus, the boys moniker is no longer befitting to them.
But its nice to remind them once in a while how far they’ve gone since we first met them.
Music bonded me to them and it has been an instrument to our continued friendship as well as my tool in getting to know them well, aside from the lakwatsas that we go.
waahh.. coy.. u made me miss them more..
This is great… It was very thoughtful!! I just realize, i didnt knew it has been that long already. At first we tried to be their kuya and ate reaching out to them the privilege of getting to know Gods teaching in their life. At that time on, we grew up together, learn from each other and share precious moments together that as time goes on- they have change a lot more than i expected. These BIG changes in thier life, behaviour, beliefs and attitude in their personal life and fellow friends was first unnoticeable to me probably because my views and inspiration was also nurtured along with them and i learn how much we gain in sharing of Christ blessings. They have been an inspiration for us as working christians. My only prayers for each and everyone is a simple gift from GOD that he would keep blessing each of our lives and our families the bounty of his Graces and Love. Tending us to be His instrument to his plan and worthy of his Salvation. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
