It was indeed a different weekend. Starting on a Friday night when Aya, Patrick, Gagay, Chad, my kuya and I witnessed a pursuit. The guys just stabbed two men outside of a grocery mart then boarded the motorbike they rode on to escape from the crime they had committed. Unfortunately for them, they were immediately chased by two policewomen who were stationed along the crossing. The guys were forced to go against the traffic and in effect hit 2 taxis ten stumbled before they go on foot in separate ways. One guy was spotted hiding in the dark by one of the SWAT members who responded and the other was cornered by the citizens living on the side of the bridge. The drama that it was.
Then Saturday came by as a respite from work and spent watching a movie while doing some work that doesn’t need urgency.
Sunday however was like riding on the back of an eagle that came unannounced. The lunch together was unexpected and unplanned. The time together was even more described as a mountain-top experience. However, I was amazed at Macky’s rendition of The Voice of Truth. That guy never fails to amaze and encourage me.
